以o结尾的单词？

1、张道真先生编的《实用英语语法》中写道：“以o结尾的词多数都加es，但下面两类只加s”：

（1）词末为两个元音字母的词 如：zoos，bamboos，coos，radios，studios（艺术家的工作室）。

（2）某些外来词则加s．如photos，solos，pianos，kilos（千克），tohaccos。

2、以辅音+o结尾有生命(包括动植物）的名词，加es，读/z/.例如：hero-heroestomato-tomatoes 扩展资料：例句（1）Man is exterminating too many species for zoos to be much help. 人类正在导致过多物种灭绝，动物园也无济于事。

（2）The pond is surrounded by bamboos and trees. 池塘四面竹树环合。

（3）I've got a million photos of my boy. He's very photogenic. 我给儿子拍了好多照片，他非常上镜。

（4）They are among the unsung heroes of our time 他们是我们这个时代的无名英雄。
